Breakfast Pizza

Kale and Broccoli both easily make a cut to the top 5 SUPER-green vegetables.

They are so versatile ,they could be cooked with any possible technique or consumed in their raw form ; any which way it sure is to amp up the nutrition value for sure. Though Broccoli has been known to be a “healthy veggy” for long ; Kale has just earned its hype & why not . They both are low-Cal , High in dietary fibre and loaded with Vitamin K & C and other vitamins like A along with being a rich source of Iron and Calcium.They are Anti-Inflammatory , Antioxidant rich Detox Foods.

And the above is why I choose these superfoods to make my Breakfast Pizza.

cooking-time  Total time : 15-20 mins

serves  Serves : 1-2 people

Ingredients:

1 Whole Wheat Flat Bread/Pizza Base

1/2 Cup Chopped Kale

1/3 Cup Broccoli Florets

1/2 Chopped Red and Green Jalapeño

1 Whole Egg

3 Tbsp Pomodoro sauce (for recipe go to Pantry)

1/3 cup Ricotta cheese

Salt & pepper

1 tsp olive oil

For Garnishing

Rose pepper corn

Dehydrated Garlic

Chilly Flakes

Kosher Salt

Method:

Pre-heat the oven at 300 F . In a bowl ,put Olive Oil and mix the Kale and Broccoli along with the Jalapeños and seasoning , making sure they are coated well .Set aside. Place the wholewheat base on the oven grill and smear it with Pomodoro sauce. Top it with Kale and broccoli mixture and let it cook for 10 mins in the oven before you Break an Egg in the center and place it back in the oven to cook for no more than 5 minutes,  if you like tour Egg runny.If you wish to cook it completely do let it sit in the oven for longer.

Once you bring the Breakfast Pizza out place it on the serving plate and put dollops of Ricotta around the Egg and sprinkle massaged Rose Pepper Corns , Dehydrated Garlic , Salt and Chill Flakes . Serve immediately.
