Granola Energy Bites

There are days when you are in a rush and you need a healthy energy boosting snack on the go. Be it you in the morning rushing to the gym or work or your kid going for sports or school – a couple of these are good enough to make you power through your day!
You can improvise and add or subtract any ingredients subject to availability or your taste. The idea is to eat what you enjoy! I love peanut butter and honey so I have shaped my energy balls with those two ingredients acting as the binding agent!

Granola Recipe

Ingredients

6 Tbsp Peanut butter
4 Tbsp Honey, I used Pioneer honey’s Jamun flavour
3 cups Granola
2 Tsp Unsweetened Cocoa

Method

In a microwave cookware bowl, add the honey and peanut butter and microwave it for 20 secs.
Whisk it together to a smooth consistency.
Add the Granola to the mixture and mix well till its coated well and evenly.
Taking a fistful of the mixture use gentle pressure to bind it together and gradually shaping them by rolling them into ball shape.
Sprinkle the cocoa on them to avoid them from from sticking together.
Store in an airtight jar in a cool place.
