Soya Honey Glazed Vegetables

This dish could be called as the Vegetarian Wonder! These vegetables coated with a film sticky Soya honey glaze are truly finger-licking good. You can toss in any veggies you have sitting in your kitchen in this magical dressing; I am sharing with you my version of Soya Honey glazed Vegetables I enjoy a lot.

6-8 asparagus, trimmed
1/2 cup cherry tomato
250 grams Green beans, trimmed and snapped in half
1 Small head broccoli
Handful peas
6-8 Green onions, trimmed
6-8 cloves garlic, peeled
4 dry Red Chillies
4 star anise
4 tbsp Sesame oil
3 Tbsp Honey, I used Pioneer Honey’s Kashmiri Ginger
4 tbsp soya sauce
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt & pepper to taste

In a wok, heat the sesame oil and add the dry red chillies, star anise and garlic.Sauté for a few minutes.
Once you can smell the aromatics add the vegetables – green beans, asparagus, broccoli, green onions and stir fry them on high flame for 4-6 minutes. Making sure to toss them frequently.
Once they are almost done and slightly caramalised add the cherry tomatoes and peas and toss for a couple of minutes more along with honey and soya sauce.
Finish the dish with the lemon juice and test for the flavour at this point; adjust with the salt and pepper.

Serve and devour immediately! Here enjoy mine with with black quinoa!
